I am climbing mount Kilimanjaro on July 25th for the first time. I know that this trip is going to challenge me physically and mentally. I have read and heard other peoples' experiences, it is still a very unknown experience to me.
I am training to reach the summit on July 31st, my main motivation is my son and my fundraising campaign to support educating girls in Afghanistan through The Womanity Foundation. My goal is to raise $6000 which will provide 12 schools of approximately 24,000 students, with their stationery supply for 2 years.
I am a strong believer that we will see world peace through empowering women, they are raising the next generation and they are the most powerful and influential element on their children's beliefs and behavior. A person who is loved in his/her family, cannot harm another being. Education is one of the most important areas to empower women. My focus is on the Middle East and less privileged countries who need extra attention. Any donation means a world to me and to all those girls who need your support.
