Page information:

I am off to the Sanskar region of the Himalayas to climb a mountain of over 6'000m. I am doing this for a very special foundation that gives ill children in Switzerland respite from the daily routine of hospital treatments by granting them magical wishes. www.makeawish.ch
Having a wish granted gives HOPE, STRENGTH and JOY.
I survived cancer - twice - I am lucky and wish to support these extraordinary children who are facing their battle against illness with great courage and hope and the foundation that gives them great joy.
My climb is dedicated to them. Thank you for supporting me in this endeavour. - Alex.

The Challenge:

In the heart of the Great Himalaya, in northern India in the province of Zanskar the region of Reru has only recently been accessible to travellers and climbers. There are many summits which have yet to be conquered, I hope I can conquer one for Make-A-Wish!

Au coeur du Great Himalaya, situé au Nord de l'Inde dans la province su Zanskar, la région de Reru s'est ouverte au tourisme depuis peu.
Il reste de nombreux sommets vierges et j'espère pouvoir conquérir un des ces magnifique sommets pour Make-A-Wish!
