GET INVOLVED !
The Geneva Charity Committee comprises 10 members from across the Geneva office and proactively encourages the 400+ Geneva staff to participate in volunteer work and fundraising activities for a range charitable local organisations. The Charity Committee has partnered with a number of local not-for-profit associations including Carrefour-Rue, Le Jardin de Montbrillant, La Jouetterie, ESCA Cancer Suppport, Croix-Rouge Genevoise and Le Bateau Genève.

This year, we will be running to raise money for HandiSport Geneva, an association that enables disabled people to participate in sport locally. It allows over 250 children, adults and adolescents to practice their preferred sports in a fun environment. Read more about it: www.handisport-ge.ch

The Challenge:

On May 11 we hope to be 100 employees, partners and kids from the Geneva office running or walking from 1K to 10K. Each runner is raising money which will be matched by the Trafigura Foundation ... and given to HandiSport Geneva to fund some sports camps.

More details: The Harmony Geneva Marathon for Unicef is arguably one of the most picturesque city marathons in Europe and unquestionably one of the fastest. The course takes in the countryside nestled between mountains and the shore of Lake Geneva before finishing in the heart of the city in front of the famous Jet d’Eau.

The 15th edition of the Harmony Geneva Marathon for Unicef takes place on 11th-12th May 2019. Thousands of runners from more than 120 global destinations are expected to join this inclusive festival of running by signing up for one of eight events: Marathon, Relay Marathon (4-6 people), Half-Marathon, Wheelchair Race, 10km (open to runners and walkers), La Genevoise #LikeAGirl by Always (a 6.5km race for women) and Junior Races (1 to 5km for 6 to 15-year-olds).
